As the name already suggests - Warm System - leggings are primarily intended for colder weather. Always, however, is the problem of specifying what the manufacturer has in mind the slogan "colder days." In this case, it comes to these cooler days;) when the mercury drops below zero. Running on warmer days - to about 5 C, there is no problem, but we feel that it is a bit too warm. As I wrote in the introduction, much depends on the individual perception of temperature, so the values that I give here are very approximate.
Were not indicative for it certainly frosts that attacked us last weekend. -13 * C and for this strong wind, which effectively lowered the perceived temperature. Running in such conditions longer requires specific s clothes. On went up four layers including a winter jacket DOBSOM R90, which has never failed me, and down ... same leggings. Of course, during miniboden the run legs are working, and thus they are warmed up, but I had my doubts whether Polanik give advice.
The material from which made leggings are half and half polyamide fiber and bioactive "silver thread". The outer layer of the material is smooth, and the inside is very soft and pleasant to the touch. Leggings are a good fit, but not too tight, not restrain movement nor oppress.
The use of "silver thread" antibacterial miniboden works just as well as for other products. The material effectively reduces the formation of unpleasant odors and any irritation.
Like the jumper Warm System, leggings are a few details that significantly enhance their functionality. At the bottom of the legs, on the outer side there are sliders that make it easy to put on and remove the leggings. The sliders are quite robust and not strung out during the run. Besides, the bottom of the legs are non-slip rubber strips, which prevent lifting and rotation. Rubber waist is wide and pull the traditional string;)
Leggings are black but have red inserts, and here and there with red stitching, which gives them a pretty interesting look. I miss them but a few large, strategically placed reflective elements. Since they are designed to run in the winter it is likely miniboden that even after dark. If the red elements were reflective, it would significantly increase our security.
